Digital Marketing Assistant

Boutique advertising agency in business for 20+ years is seeking a part-time Digital Marketing Assistant to help support our rapidly growing client base. This is an in-house position based in Lakewood, CO with the possibility of going full-time after six months.

The ideal candidates for this role is highly organized and possesses a unique ability to problem solve, multi-task, and manage multiple projects at once while requiring minimal direction and supervision. Self-starting individuals with a positive, can-do attitude and the ability to ‘think outside of the box’ will be highly successful within our organization.

Responsibilities:

Provides support for internal and external digital marketing initiatives
Creates technical website and digital advertising evaluations utilizing industry-leading tools
Creates monthly reports for clients summarizing advertising performance, results and next steps
Assists with the development, coordination, and management of search engine optimization campaigns (SEO)
Assists with the development, coordination, and management of paid search (PPC) campaigns
Assists with the development, coordination, and management of display advertising campaigns
Analyzes website traffic, content usage, and advertising performance; identifying opportunities for improvements leading to increased ROI
Uploading and properly tagging digital video content to video sharing websites such as YouTube and Vimeo
Creating local business listings and reviews for individual businesses
Updating weekly project status reports; charts due dates and execution of key deliverables
Assists in each stage of project development from inception to completion

Desired skills, qualifications, and experience:

1-2 years of digital marketing or SEO experience preferred; however, we will provide training and professional development for right candidate who’s willing to learn and passionate about the digital marketing space
Basic understanding of website technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, content management systems (Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla) and the ability to effectively navigate and manage the implementation of SEO
Strong understanding of search engines and the impact they have on commerce
Fundamental understanding of search engine optimization best practices; hands on SEO experience is preferred
Fundamental understanding of pay-per-click advertising; hands on PPC experience is a plus
SEO copywriting experience preferred; familiarity or hands on experience writing for blogs is a plus
Social media marketing experience is a major plus
Understanding of competitive keyword research and selection utilizing industry-standard tools
Experience with Google Analytics or other web analytics platforms
Experience using Google’s suite of advertising and productivity tools
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Work) is required
Agency and/or project management experience in an digital advertising context strongly considered
