Lisa graduated from University of Southern Colorado in 1992 and has been in the Denver area ever since. Her passion for media led her to work at KOSI-FM. She then spent 9 years at Karsh & Hagan Advertising working primarily on the McDonald’s account as a Media Supervisor.
After spending many years planning, buying, and eating way too many french fries at meetings, she decided to try Sales at KWGN-TV. This was quite a switch from the buying side, but Lisa was able to encourage new advertisers to television marketing and created sponsorship opportunities that benefited many of her clients.
Four years later, Lisa has come full circle and is back in the agency world at blue onion as an Account Manager, working with clients on their media plans, buys and strategies.
Lisa is married with 2 little boys. As active as they are, they are keeping her running…..constantly. Their favorite family place to unwind is Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. Her 6-year old son Blake is starting to think the beach house they rent is actually his house. If only that were true!
Megan recently joined the blue onion Media Team from the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, where she worked in the Technology Department for two years. She was the lead technical support representative for the help desk, i.e. she played with machines.
While in college at CU Denver, working on a Bachelor's in Anthropology with a Minor in Sociology, Megan also worked part time for the blue onion Media Team, learning the basics and helping the media buyers with various projects. She is now currently getting her Master’s in LIFE and can stick a pencil through her ear lobe.
She is responsible for watching TV, as well as making sure we all follow the 12-step media buying process to insure quality buys and station adherence to our guidelines. We believe Megan may be a paperwork junkie and also addicted to bubble wrap.
