blue onion at TedxMileHigh

Last Thursday, blue onion's Clay Frickey and Justin Holderness attended the TedxMileHigh event at the Ellie Calukins Opera House in downtown Denver. TedxMileHigh was an independently organized Ted event with speakers who call the Denver area home. The speakers ranged from professors at CU Boulder to social workers to entrepreneurs that covered a wide range of topics affecting our local community and the globe. The goal of this event was to provide those in attendance with thought-provoking speeches that inspire change.

The curator of the event, Jeremy Duhon, urged everyone in attendance to walk away with one actionable idea that will change the community. Needless to say, we at blue onion have felt more inspired as a result of being at the TedxMileHigh event. Keep an eye on this area to see some of the actionable ideas we have taken to improve our wonderful community. We will also be posting our favorite talks given at this conference here for you to view and comment on.

To view the talks given at TedxMileHigh, go to the official TedxMileHigh website. Videos of the talks should be available soon.
